Everything important for your stay at the Hanauerhof

we are very pleased to welcome you at our hotel!

Our hotel is open daily for vacation guests and business travelers.
Our newly renovated restaurant Klara is open for you from Monday to Friday from 12 to 21 o'clock and on Saturday from 17 to 21 o'clock (Sunday closed)

Please observe the following Corona rules:

Hotel guests - 2G rule

Vaccinated and recovered persons have - as before - unrestricted access, but must show appropriate proof.
Unvaccinated persons will no longer be admitted. Please note that since 12.01.22 the FFP2 mask obligation applies in Baden Württemberg.
Exception: Only for business overnight stays or in special emergency cases, unvaccinated persons
are permitted to enter upon presentation of a negative antigen or PCR test.

In the case of the exception, a current antigen or PCR test proof must be presented again every three days.

Please note: In order to be able to have breakfast or visit our restaurant, all hotel guests must also comply with the current 2G+ rules,
which have been in effect since 04.12.2021 due to alert level II.

Restaurant guests - 2G+ rule

On 04.12.2021 the 2G+ rules for restaurant guests in the Ortenauskreis come into force.
Due to the alert level II, you will only be able to visit a restaurant if you are either fully vaccinated or recovered plus tested.

An exemption from the obligation to test for 2G+ applies to all those who have already received a booster vaccination and to all vaccinated
persons whose last required single vaccination was not more than 3 months ago or to all recovered persons whose infection can be proven to have occurred no more than 3 months ago.

With the new Corona regulations, we are required to electronically verify the vaccination, the recovery
or test certificates
presented. For this reason, the yellow vaccination book is currently no longer permitted, only the QR code of the
digital EU vaccination certificate may be presented. Beside the well-known apps, the presentation of the printout of the digital vaccination certificate (with QR code)
is also permitted,so there is no obligation to use specific apps.

For recovery or test certificates that cannot be read with electronic applications because they do not have a QR code, it is still permitted to check the customer's
data and compare it with the photo ID by inspecting it.In this case, we must ask the guest to present his or her original ID in order to check that the guest has presented his
or her personal identification. So please do not forget to bring your ID and digital proof of identity before you visit the restaurant!

Exempt from the PCR requirement and 2G restriction are children & teenagers up to and including 17 yearsas well as persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons
(this also includes pregnant women and nursing mothers). A negative antigen test is required here (no older than 24 hours).

We still offer take-away. Here you will find our menu. You will only have to do without our bar + lounge
UNIKUM for a little while yet. It will open again in late fall.

Our cancellation policy

1.) in case of direct booking of the Üof or ÜF rate

  • Cancellation free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival.
  • Cancellation after 6 pm on the day of arrival: 80 % cancellation fee of the total price


2.) in case of direct booking of the HP rate as well as our arrangements (except point 3)

  • Cancellation free of charge until 8 days before arrival
  • Cancellation from 7 days before arrival: 80 % cancellation fee of the total price


3.)  in case of direct booking of the arrangements 5=4 as well as 7=6 incl. one free night

  • no free cancellation possible: 100 % cancellation fee of the total price


4.) for group bookings

  • Cancellation up to 42 days before arrival: cancellation free of charge
  • Cancellation from 41 to 22 days before arrival: 20 % cancellation fee of the total price
  • Cancellation from 21 to 15 days before arrival: 40 % cancellation fee of the total price
  • Cancellation from 14 to 8 days before arrival: 60 % cancellation fee of the total price
  • Cancellation from 7 to 1 day before arrival: 80 % cancellation fee of the total price
  • No show or cancellation on the day of arrival: 100 % cancellation fee of the total price

Our hygiene concept


We for you during the Corona Pandemic

In order to ensure the well-being of all our guests and our team, we have worked out all the hygiene requirements of the state government in a consistent infection protection concept,
so that the virus is not given a chance in our house and nothing stands in the way for your stay at our hotel.


At the hotel please note the following:

Enjoy our warm hospitality as usual, even if the safety distance of 1.50 m must be observed everywhere. Please note the mouth-nose protection obligation in all public areas of the hotel for your own and our safety, where the 1.50 m distance can not be maintained.

At the reception there are glass panes for protection. You will find a disinfectant dispenser in the entrance area. Due to distance and hygiene regulations, we unfortunately have to dispense with a handshake as a greeting. You are welcome to make contactless payments with your EC card or credit card. We will only bring your luggage to your room if you have specifically requested us to do so. Your room cards will be disinfected in advance. In general, a tightened hygiene concept has been introduced throughout the hotel with regular cleaning and disinfection of potential transmission points, regular ventilation and air purification through ventilation systems with HEPA filters. In addition to the safety concept, our entire team - in addition to general hygiene instructions - was of course trained in their specific areas of work.

Your room will be thoroughly disinfected with a cold fogging machine and sufficiently ventilated before arrival. Our housekeeping team has been trained according to the relevant regulations.  For your current stay, we would like to leave your private area as a protected zone for you as well, so you have the option to choose not to have the daily cleaning service if you wish. We kindly ask you to open the windows in your room on the day of check out, for the protection of our staff.

We are also dependent on your assistance in the restaurant: You will be currently placed in your specially cleaned seat. Please always wear your mouth-nose protection on the way to your table, to the buffet and to the toilet. Please also observe the 1.50 m distance rule when going to the toilets or at the breakfast buffet, for example.
